Top tips for scuba diving travel insurance

Here are some helpful tips to consider ...

1

Research local operators and safety standards

Always book your activities with a reputable activity provider with a strong safety track record. Look for certifications, reviews and adherence to international safety standards. Don’t hesitate to ask questions about the equipment, guides and safety measures before committing.

2

Know your limits and choose activities wisely

Before diving into any adventure, assess your fitness level and experience. Engage in activities that align with your skills and capabilities to ensure you’re not taking on more than you can handle.

3

If you’re feeling unwell, reconsider doing the adventure activity

If you’re feeling unwell, consider skipping or postponing an adventure activity. Pushing yourself while sick can increase the risk of injury or accidents. Prioritise your health and give yourself time to recover so you can enjoy your holiday to the fullest when you’re feeling better.
